FAQ
What is the typical size of an arrangement?
Arrangements are placed in all manner of glass vessels, from mason jars to syrup bottles to thrifted vases, typically holding 8 ounces or less of water. These deliveries are intended to be small, exquisite moments. Please visit our social media pages to see examples.
Is this really free?
Yes. Flower Vigilante is a non-profit designed to spread kindness freely through the beauty of flowers.
How do I know my request has been delivered?
You will receive emails at each stage of the Flower Vigilante process: pending approval, awaiting delivery, and delivered.
Can I request a specific day for delivery?
No. Flowers are unpredictable and harvests are timed to maximize each variety’s vase life. Bouquets go out for delivery as close to harvest as possible.
What kind of flowers do you grow?
All flowers are organic and locally grown. Focal flowers may vary from year to year (gotta keep it interesting), but the stars of the show typically include daffodils, peonies, sunflowers and dahlias, with filler including lavender, edible flowers, herbs and greenery.
How do I cancel a request?
A request can be canceled anytime prior to the day of delivery. A link to cancel is provided in your confirmation email. If you have lost this email, please contact orders@flowervigilante.org.
Why can’t I make a request?
Flower Vigilante has a limited number of deliveries that can be made each month during the growing season (April to October). At the start of each month, slots for bouquet requests are released. Once these are filled, the request form closes until the next group of bouquet deliveries are released. Releases are announced on social media and typically occur at the start of the month.
